Craig Collins, LOGIX’s newly-appointed CEO, described his vision for fiber network growth in Texas during a recent interview with Telecom Ramblings.
Collins said LOGIX will concentrate on expanding its fiber network footprint, particularly in high-growth Texas markets such as Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Austin and San Antonio. Key components of the strategy include increased emphasis on channels and agent programs, developing and building relationships with wholesale and wireless carriers and promoting LOGIX’s long-haul routes. When asked to elaborate on what the future holds for LOGIX, he said, “The company went through an acquisition and then integrated many of its systems during the past year. The next evolution is to concentrate on growth, which means deciding which segments of the market to focus on.” He added, “We have developed a solid roadmap that will help us penetrate the retail and wholesale space, and now we need to execute.”
